Research shows that oral sex after drinking high risk of HIV infection
University of California at Los Angeles study shows that alcohol will make oral cells in oral sex more vulnerable to HIV. This is the first time the influence of alcohol from the perspective of the cells infected with HIV. Prior studies had found that sexual intercourse do not have to drink more opportunities for condoms, thus increasing the risk of HIV infection; and the study is based on the effect of alcohol on oral mucosa cells to focus and found that oral sex can drink oral mucosa cells infected with HIV The increased risk of three to six times. The researchers did not collect HIV infection in the oral mucosa cells, these cells contact with the different types of beer as the degree of alcohol, and then implanted with a green fluorescent protein of HIV exposure, in order to observe whether the virus infected oral mucosa cells. The results showed that the concentration of 4% alcohol contact 10 minutes after the oral mucosa cells increase the risk of HIV infection in three to six times. HIV attacks CD4 + white blood cell's, and oral mucosa cells usually gather more white blood cells. HIV would be "held hostage" This kind of white blood cells, white blood cell's own genes into the DNA, allowing the latter to create more virus particles, and more infected cells. CD4 + white blood cells of the host cell eventually be killed by poison, but scientists still do not know the current mechanism. With the human immune system CD4 + white blood cell reduction, to a certain extent can diagnosed with AIDS.
